In case you didn’t know, WhatsApp has included few needed features. You can now type Bold, Italics, Strikethrough or monospace text messaged from your or Android phone or iPhone using WhatsApp.
How to write with bold in WhatsApp
To bold your message, place an asterisk on both sides of the text like in the example below :

How to write with Italic in WhatsApp
To italicize your message, place an underscore on both sides of the text like in the example below:

How to write with Strikethrough in WhatsApp
To strikethrough your message, place a tilde on both sides of the text v

Monospace
To monospace
your message, place three backticks on both sides of the text like in the example below:

The examples above may be helpful when you’re using WhatsApp Web on your computer. If you use it on your phone, you have an alternative:
- Android: Tap and hold the text you’re entering in the text field, then choose Bold, Italic, or More . Tap More to choose Strikethrough or Monospace.
- iPhone: Tap the text you’re entering in the text field > Select or Select All > B_I_U. Then, choose Bold, Italic, Strikethrough, or Monospace.
